Just a super quick note at the end of this mixed-bag of a year to give anyone who cares an update. My account on Reddit has been banned owing to someone seizing control of it. Despite my efforts to update my password and improve security, I received a message today informing me I have been permanently banned. I am currently appealing this. Stay tuned, I guess.
